To highlight the importance of this issue, the present study investigated the long-term impacts of different doses of a single systemic tamoxifen injection on the testis and the wider endocrine system. We found that a single dose of tamoxifen less than 10% of the mean dose used for recombination induction, caused adverse effects to the testis and to the reproductive endocrine system that persisted long-term. These data raise significant concerns about the widespread use of tamoxifen induction of recombination, and highlight the importance of including appropriate controls in all pathophysiological studies using this means of induction.]]> Wed 11 Apr 2018 17:20:19 AEST ]]> The short-term storage and cryopreservation of spermatozoa from hylid and Myobatrachid frogs https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:1432 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:28:03 AEDT ]]> Neonatal lipopolysaccharide exposure impairs sexual development and reproductive success in the Wistar rat https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:17701 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:57:31 AEDT ]]> Antioxidant systems and oxidative stress in the testes https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:6652 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:46:20 AEDT ]]> RNA binding protein Musashi-2 regulates PIWIL1 and TBX1 in mouse spermatogenesis https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:36766 Fri 03 Jul 2020 14:13:41 AEST ]]>
